So, it’s time for my top 5 favorites post again, and as usual I will link to full reviews at the end of the post.

hdr

So, to start with I wanted to quickly mention the Rimmel Stay Matte powder.
Now, I do always keep this in my purse for touch-ups no matter what time of year it is, but I do reach for it alot more once the summer kicks in, and I do get quite a bit more oily. And this powder is just so easy because it does mattify my skin, it doesn’t look heavy and it’s super inexpencive, so in my oppinion everyone who needs any sort of mattifying should have this powder on hand.

hdr

Next up I have the Zoeva The Basic Moment Blush Palette.
This one is so beautiful in the summer, the shades are soft, yet the blush is a good ‘almost bright’ pop of color, and all you really need next to this is a bronzer (if you’d like) because to me the “bronzer” in this palette is more of a contour powder, but it’s still a very beautiful palette, it’s easy to use and you don’t really have to think about it, so I’ve been reaching a lot for this the last month.

hdr

Moving on I have the Pür Cosmetics Disappearing Act Concealer.
Now, I’ve had this big breakout right in between my eyes these past few weeks, and this is the only thing that’s covered it, so that’s why I’ve been loving this so much this month, because I don’t usualy reach for this kind of concealer because it is a little too heavy for me, but for breakouts and stuff it works wonders. Just don’t overapply it because it can look a bit heavy on the skin.

hdr

Next I have the Smashbox Color Correcting stick in the dark peach/orange shade.
Now, I believe I’ve mentioned this in a favorites post last year or something, and for good reason, because this is so so easy to use, it’s creamy, it doesn’t look heavy, it blends out beautifully and it corrects my dark circles.
The only thing is that I could’ve maybe gone a shade lighter, but for those days when I really need to cover my dark circles this is perfect for me.

hdr

And my last favorite for this month is the MAC huggable Lipcolour in the shade ‘Bare Hug’.
Now, when I first got this I didn’t really care for it at all, but now I like it a lot, so I have changed my oppinion quite a bit with this.
Now the reason I like it so much now is because it’s a very sheer formula, and it’s almost like a lipgloss in a lipstick form, but it’s not really sticky, and I do tend to prefer lighter, glossier lips in the summer rather than bold, matte colors, so this has been my lipstick of choice this month.

So, that’s it for my favorites this month. Please let me now some of your favorites in the comments below.

So it’s time for a favorites post again, and this time I struggled a bit actually finding products I’ve been loving, because yes I’ve been using all of these products consistently throughout the month, but some of them I’ve been using because I love the color, not so much because I love the formula.
Anyway, I will have link to full reviews at the end of the post like usual.

hdr

My first favorite this month is the Loreal Botanics Rich Infusion Hair Masque.
I have the one for dry hair (even though my hair is normal), and this makes my hair so soft and smooth, and it also doesn’t get as ‘static’ when I use this which is great.
Now, the way I use this (and any other hairmask) is that I apply it to the lenghts of my hair after I washed it and then, after 3-5 minutes or so, I use a litte bit of shampoo in the roots of my hair while I rinse it out, this way my hair doesn’t get as heavy or oily (I have a lot of and quite long hair, so my hair will get quite ‘flat’ if I don’t wash/condition my hair like this), and since I do this 2-3 times a week, I have noticed that my hair stays softer for longer, so I’ve really been enjoying this mask (and technique).

hdr

My second favorite this month is the Nails Inc nail polish in the shade ‘King William Walk’.
Now, this is more of a color favorite, because I don’t really love the formula, because it does crack after a day or two, but I love this color so much, because it is the perfect, soft nude for my skintone and this is the only shade I’ve been wearing for the last two months, so I had to mention it.
However, I have this gel transformer set that allows me to mix this polish with a gel, so it actually lasts (and dries under a LED light) like a gel polish, which is great because then I don’t really have to worry about it for a couple of weeks, making it a lot easier for me because I don’t have to re-apply it 3 times a week.
But nonetheless I do really love this color.

hdr

Next I have the Maybelline Linerefine Expression Kajal in the shade ‘Brown’.
Now I’m not really one who uses liner on a daily basis, liquid or pencil, but this month I’ve been reaching for this one to darken up the outer part of my lash line for a little bit of definition and depth, and sometimes I’ve also smudged it across my whole lashline a couple of times and I do like it for that as well, depending on my mood of course, but it is easy to work with (it could be a little creamier) and it does last all day on my eyes, so I’ve been enjoying this a lot this month.

hdr

Next I have the Revlon Insta-Blush in the shade ‘Berry Kiss’.
Now, I just recently did a review on this, and I said in that review that I didn’t really like these because they require a little bit too much work for my liking and they do fade away quite a bit throughout the day, and I have better cream blushes in my collection, but I don’t have a shade like this which is why I’ve been reaching for it so much this month.
Now if any of you know of a cream blush with a berry tone to it, I’d love to know about it, but for now this is what I’ve got and I do like the shade.

hdr

And my last favorite this month is the bareMinerals BareSkin Sheer Sun Serum Bronzer.
Now I got this free sample with one of my orders ones, and I didn’t really want to try it, but I finally did and I love this so much.
This is such a beautiful bronzer, it’s so lightweight, it looks very soft and natural, and it’s very easy to work with as well.
Now, I do always set it with some sort of powder (sometimes a powder bronzer) so it does last on my skin, so I don’t know how it would last completly on it’s own, but it’s so beautiful that I think it’s worth it either way.

So that’s it for my top 5 this month.
Let me know of some of your favorites in the comments below.

It’s Favorites time again, and as usual I will link to full reviews at the end of the post.

hdr

So, first I wanted to talk about the Clinique High Impact mascara.
Now, this is just a sample size that I got in a gift set or something, but I do really like the way it makes my lashes look. It just gives them the perfect amount of lenght and volume, but it’s not clumpy or “too much” looking, if you know what I mean?
I also haven’t had any issues with it flaking or smudging, so I do enjoy this one.

hdr

Next up I have the Maybelline Matte&Poreless foundation.
Now, I have a weird relationship with this foundation, because I do really like it, but it does look a little bit cakey around my nose after a little while, so I don’t like it there.
But it does stay on all day (except on my nose) and it does give a nice, medium coverage, so I do like it overall, I just don’t know if I think it’s worth all of the hype it’s getting.
But it’s still the only foundation I’ve been using throughout the month, so I had to mention it.

hdr

Moving on I have the theBalm Highlite N’ ConTour palette.
Now, I have to be honest and say that I don’t use the entire palette, I mostly stick to the contour shades in this, and I love them.
They blend out so easily, they’re subtle enough, but they show up on my skin and I haven’t been able to put it down.
Now, I do like most of this palette, but the contour shades are the powders that I reach for the most.

hdr

Next I have the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer.
I love this bronzer so much, mostly becuase it is very subtle, and it’s not very pigmented, so it’s very easy to use.
And it’s also very natural looking on my skin, so it just gives the perfect, sun-kissed bronzed look to my face, and it’s not chalky or powdery looking, so I do really like this one.

hdr

And for my last favorite this month I have the Soap&Glory Sexy Motherpucker XL Extreme-Plump.
Now, I have a lot of line on my lips, and I’m not the biggest fan of those, so I use this to sort of smooth them out a little bit, and make them a little bit plumper.
This won’t give me Kylie Jenner lips by any means, but it does plump them just enough, so I’m not as self conscious about them when I use this, so I do really like this.
However, this is a lip-plumper, so it will “burn” a little, but I personally don’t find it to be too painfull or anything, but if you are sensitive to those kind of feelings, I don’t think that this is for you.

So, that’s it for my favorites this month.

So, it’s time to talk about my top 5 products of the month, and as usual I will link to full reviews at the end of the post.

hdr

So, to start with I wanted to talk about some of my favorite Make Up Geek shadows.
Now, these shades have been perfect for me since I’ve been loving a soft, neutral eye look, but I’ve also been loving a little pop of color in the crease, that’s where the shade “Mango Tango” comes in.
It just gives me the perfect amount of something different, and these shadows are so easy to work with, and they’re also quite inexpencive, so I have been loving them alot this month.

hdr

Next I have the Benefit Porefessional.
Now, I do have a love/hate relationship with this primer, because it can be a bit too dry/crumbly sometimes, mostly when it’s colder outside and my skin is dryer, but once it gets a bit warmer, and my skin gets a little bit more ‘oily’ I do find myself enjoying this primer quite a bit.
Now, I use this as a porefiller, and I do see a little bit of difference when I use it, compared to when I’m not, but I don’t really think that it fills them in too much, so I don’t feel like it’s clogging my pores, which is one of the reasons I’ve been reaching for it so much throughout this month.

hdr

Moving on I have been loving the Estee Lauder Genuine Glow Eyelighting Creme.
Now, this is like a liquid sort of a highlighter for eyes and face, and I’ve only been using it on my cheeks, underneath the next product I’ll talk about, and this is such a beautiful highlighter.
This makes my skin look so healthy and glowy and wet almost, and I just haven’t been able to put it away this month.

hdr

Now, to set my liquid highlighter I’ve been using the Pixi Book Of Beauty – Glow Getters palette, mostly the bottom right shade, because it matches the liquid highlight, and it just helps to re-intesify it after I’ve set my face with powder.
Now, on those days when I only use this palette, I do love to mix and match the shades depending on my mood, really. But I do really think that this palette is worth having because you can really do a lot with it.

hdr

And my last favorite this month is the Estee Lauder Genuine Glow Blushing Creme.
Now, I don’t really tend to reach for creme blushes all that much, I guess becuase I’m so used to powder blushes, but this month I’ve mostly been reaching for this.
Now, I use this underneath my foundation for a more natural look (sometimes I layer it on top of my foundation as well), and I love it.
It gives me the perfect amount of color to my cheeks, it looks very glowy and healthy, and it’s so easy to blend out that I don’t think you can go wrong with it, which makes it a very easy and quick product, and who doesn’t want that, right?

So, that’s it for my favorites this time.

It’s time to talk about some favorites again, and as usual I will link to full reviews at the end of post.

hdr

So, my first favorite this month is the Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation.
Now, I didn’t think I’d really like this as much as I do, but this makes my skin look so fresh and healthy.
It covers everything I need it to cover, and it’s, surprisingly, not too oily for my skin, so I’ve really been loving this foundation this month.

hdr

For my concealer I’ve been using the Maybelline Fit Me concealer.
Now, I don’t really have a favorite concealer, but this monht I’ve been reaching a lot for this one, mostly because this shade is a little bit too dark for me, and sometimes, for some reason, that just works better with my undereyes.
And this also stays on all day, and I haven’t had any issues with it creasing or anything, so I’ve been liking this alot this month.

hdr

Next up I have the Wet N Wild Fergie Highlighter in the shade “Rose Champagne Glow”.
Now, I know that this one was limited edition, but they have renamed and relaunched these highlighters, so it is now the To Reflect Shimmer Palette in the shade “I’ll Have A Cosmo”.
And this is such a beautiful highlighter. It blends in to the skin so beautifully and it gives such a perfect glow to your face.
Also, you can make it look subtle, but you can also build it up if you feel like it, so it is very versatile.

hdr

For my eyes this month I have been loving the Rimmel Scandal Eyes in the shade “Bad Girl Bronze”.
Now, I believe that this is supposed to be a cream eyeshadow stick sort of a thing, but I’ve been using this to line my upper lashline, and I do really like the way it makes my lashline look a little bit thicker, but since it’s not black, it doesn’t look as harsh, and I do prefer a softer look.
It does also have some gold reflex in it, which makes it pop a little bit more, but at the same time it’s very subtle if you blend it out.
And since it is a waterproof formula, it does last all day as well.

hdr

And my last favorite this month is the NYX Slim Lip Pencil in the shade “Peekaboo Neutral”.
This shade is more or less a “my-lips-but-better” type of a shade, with just a little something extra to it, and that’s why I’ve been reaching for it so much, because it is very easy to pair with any makeup look, and it’s also very easy to wear under alot of different shades of lipstick or lipgloss, or you could just fill in your entire lip with this, and then use lipbalm on top of it.
And it is also very inexpencive, and that’s always a bonus.

So, that’s it for my february favorites.
And I would love to know what you’ve been loving this month, so please let me know in the comments below.
