This is what it says on the Essence website:
Welcome to Bangkok! The gorgeous colours of this eyeshadow palette are inspired by the pulsating metropolis and the heart of the Land of Smiles. The nine eyeshadow shades in exciting reddish and soft brown colours offer velvety matt, softly shimmering and metallic finishes. Unique eye make-up looks can be created thanks to the high-pigmentation. The high-quality paper packaging with a mirror also makes this palette perfect for on the go.
So, I got this palette a little while ago, and I didn’t really know what to expect since I don’t have any experience with the brand, and I haven’t always had too much luck with eyeshadows in this pricerange, but I’m actually very impressed with these shadows.
Now, first of all I’ve gotta say that this is the first palette I own where I actually get use out of all the shades. Because there are always a few shades that aren’t my cup of tee in the palettes that I already have in my collection, but this palette has such a perfect mix of shades for me, and I’m very happy with that.
And they are also pigmented enough to show up, but I will say that you have to build them up to get full intensity, but they are very easy to build, so I don’t really consider it an issue.
However, the shimmer shades does have alot of fallout, so I would recommend that you apply your eye-makeup before your face-makeup, because it can get quite messy.
And I also prefer to apply them (shimmers) with my finger rather than a brush, ’cause the color shows up alot more opaque (even though it doesn’t look like it on my “swatches-picture”), but that just depends on your preference.
So, overall I love this palette so much, it’s just so beautiful and it’s definetly in my top 3!
The only thing that sucks is that I can’t find out where it is available outside of Europe, but if you are able to get your hands on it, I highly recommend it!
So, have you tried this palette?
