This is what it says on the Nude By Nature website:

The lipgloss is formulated with unique moisturising microspheres to help repair and plump the lips for a naturally voluminous look. ⦁ Lip nourishing ingredients
⦁ Easy to use applicator
⦁ Naturally plumps the appearance of lips
So, I was looking for some new lip products when I came across this lipgloss trio, and when I read the claims on these, I immediatly ordered them.
Now, I suffer from dry lips, especially now in the colder months, so I thought that these would be perfect for me since they claim to be both moisturising, and they’re supposed to help repair your lips, but, in my oppinion, these actually made my lips feel worse than they did prior to wearing them. And I don’t know if I just got a bad bach, or what the thing is with these, but my lips was so sore after using them, and that is a huge disapointment!
And when it comes to the other claims, I can’t say that they hold up to those either, because, first of all, even  though they don’t feel sticky when I touch them or when I put my lips together, they somehow feel very sticky on the lips, if you know what I mean?
And when I wear them outside my hair always gets stuck in them, and all of us long-haired girls (and guys) knows how annoying that is.
And they also have a really bad taste to them. Like.. You remember how those cheap glosses we used to get in magazines when we were little (in my case the late 90’s/early 2000)?
They kinda taste like those, and I don’t find that to be very pleasant.
Now, when it comes to the claim that they provide a vibrant, glossy color, the only thing that I agree with is the glossy part, because these are very sheer.
Now, that isn’t really an issue to me, because I do like sheer glosses as well as pigmented ones, but since these glosses have that claim I find it very disappointing when they don’t deliver.
The only shade that does have a little bit of a color-payoff is the shade “Blush Beige”, but this is a very milky color, and it emphasizes my liplines and dry patches, like milky colors tend to do on me, so I’m not very in to those kind of shades.
However, all the shades I got are permanent, and they do have a few more shades on the website, so it might just be that I got the shades that are very sheer, but I can’t say that for sure.
So, overall I, sadly don’t think that these are worth it. They just don’t deliver on the claims that they have. Even though I still hope that I just got a bad bach.
But have you tried them? What did you think?
This trio is available on for 326nok.

So, I’ve been working on new reviews constantly lately, but I’ve had some trouble formulating my thoughts into words.. I’ve just been feeling a little uninspired, and I’m not gonna upload half-a*s reviews, because I that’s not what I want my site to be like, so I’ve decided to skip tomorrows upload and rather focus on getting my inspiration back this week.

However, I am waiting for some items to get in, and I’ve been playing with the idea of posting some hauls from time to time, and maybe some Goodiebox unboxings. Now, I know that I’ve kept to only posting product review, but it might be time to expand my content a little bit. Would that be something that would be interesting, or do you prefer that I stick to product reviews? Or maybe some of you have other things you’d like to see on my site?

Anyway, I’d love to hear what you guys think, so please let me know your thoughts in the comments. And I’ll be back with a new post next week.

Review|Essence Sawasdee Bankok Eyeshadow Palette

This is what it says on the Essence website:

Welcome to Bangkok! The gorgeous colours of this eyeshadow palette are inspired by the pulsating metropolis and the heart of the Land of Smiles. The nine eyeshadow shades in exciting reddish and soft brown colours offer velvety matt, softly shimmering and metallic finishes. Unique eye make-up looks can be created thanks to the high-pigmentation. The high-quality paper packaging with a mirror also makes this palette perfect for on the go.

So, I got this palette a little while ago, and I didn’t really know what to expect since I don’t have any experience with the brand, and I haven’t always had too much luck with eyeshadows in this pricerange, but I’m actually very impressed with these shadows.

Now, first of all I’ve gotta say that this is the first palette I own where I actually get use out of all the shades. Because there are always a few shades that aren’t my cup of tee in the palettes that I already have in my collection, but this palette has such a perfect mix of shades for me, and I’m very happy with that.
And they are also pigmented enough to show up, but I will say that you have to build them up to get full intensity, but they are very easy to build, so I don’t really consider it an issue.

However, the shimmer shades does have alot of fallout, so I would recommend that you apply your eye-makeup before your face-makeup, because it can get quite messy.
And I also prefer to apply them (shimmers) with my finger rather than a brush, ’cause the color shows up alot more opaque (even though it doesn’t look like it on my “swatches-picture”), but that just depends on your preference.

So, overall I love this palette so much, it’s just so beautiful and it’s definetly in my top 3!
The only thing that sucks is that I can’t find out where it is available outside of Europe, but if you are able to get your hands on it, I highly recommend it!

So, have you tried this palette?
