Review | NEW Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette

This is what it says on the Anastasia website:
An essential eye shadow collection featuring 14 shades, including neutral and berry tones. Use Anastasia Beverly Hills first permanent palette, Modern Renaissance to create endless looks for daytime and evening.
Highly pigmented, easy-to-blend formula
11 matte shades; 3 metallic, Dual-sided soft bristle brush.

So, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the Anastasia eyeshadows for quite a while now, but I’ve never gotten around to ordering them untill I saw this palette. I mean, how can you resist these shades?
Now, I will say that the berry tones in this palette isn’t the type of shades I usually reach for, but I do think it’s easier to try shades out of your comfort zone when you get some good neautrals mixed in with the wilder shades, like you do with this.

Now, I don’t really have anything bad to say about this palette, but I have noticed that these shadows are so soft that they do kick up alot of powder when you dip your brush in them, so I would recommend being abit carefull with that, but as long as you tap off your brush before you apply them to the eyes, you won’t have any fallout falling onto your cheeks, so it’s not really that big of a deal.

Other than that I find that these shadows are very easy to blend, and I haven’t had any issues with them creasing or fading on me at all.
Also they are very pigmented, but they’re also very easy to sheer out for a softer look if you don’t want to go too bold right away, so you can easily choose the amount of pigmentation you get out of them, which I like quite alot.
And the brush in here is quite nice as well, now I will say that the fluffy side is a bit stiff, but it blends out the shadows so beautifully. And the other side is perfect for the lower lashline since it is quite small and dense.

So if you’ve been wanting to try some more berry/red/pink toned eyeshadows, or even if you just want the neautrals, I do think that this is worth getting!
However, if you’re more into cool toned shades, you might wanna skip this, because this does mostly contain warm shadows, but if that’s what you’re into I do recommend this.

I got mine from Kicks for 545nok.
